The welcome bonus is valid for all adults and children who move to and register in Arjeplog between November 2nd 2007 and November 1st 2010 and who were not registered in the municipality November 1st the previous year. For example, if you were registered in the municipality 2007-11-01 and move out and then register into the municipality during the period 2007-11-02 - 2008-11-01 you are not entitled to the welcome bonus. The bonus is also valid for children born in the municipality during this period, provided that the parents are registered in Arjeplog.

The first year you are registered in the municipality you will get a payment card worth 10 000 kronor. The second year you are registered in the municipality you will get another 15 000 kronor added to your card.

The card is valid in all shops, hotels, restaurants and companies in the municipality of Arjeplog.

The amounts include VAT.

The card is not valid for purchase of tobacco or alcohol.

Application for welcome bonus shall be made to the registry of the municipality at the latest during the month of December 2008, December 2009, December 2010 and December 2011, respectively. The checks are valid from January 2009, January 2010, January 2011 and January 2012.

With the application you will have to attach a certificate from the Tax Authorities attesting your address of civil registration the 1st of November, year of application.
